Meet Our Dentists

Mark Shurett, DDS

Education: Oxford College and Emory University Dental School, Emory University

Experience: Practice in General Dentistry since 1980.  Special emphasis on cosmetic dentistry, endodontics and prosthetics.  Dr. Shurett has worked with the children on the Mobile Dental Offices for all nine years of its existence.  He has a private family practice in Conyers, Georgia.

Hobbies: Rollerblading, bicycling, running and motorcycling.

Goals: To make available quality dental care to those children who might not otherwise receive it.  It is my continung aim to provide a fun atmosphere for children to receive their dental care.  That way, I know the effort I put forth for them will continue to affect their dental and overall health for a lifetime.

Jody Granier, DDS

Education: San Jacinto College Lamar University Dental School, Un iversity of Texas

Experience: Began General Dentistry for the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1996 with emphasis in restorative, oral sugery and prosthedontics.

Hobbies: Antique cars, carpentry and golf.

Goals: A child's first dental visit can often be influential in determining their future oral health.  It is my goal to provide quality treatment, while maintaining a positive and comforting patient experience.  Equally important is assuring that my patients leave my chair with an enhanced understanding of the long term values of routine maintenance and care to their oral health.
